Debugging Source

I've got the SVN source as of last week and am building the GumstixII_2.sln using MS VS 2005 Pro with no other changes.
The Release version runs fine and cranks up the USB and the remote desktop works fine.
I'm running on a basix 400xm-bt with the console board.
The Debug version however only gets this far during boot:

Is there something I'm supposed to do at this point? Keyboard input does nothing. ActiveSync doesn't see anything, and VS won't connect for debug.

The device ID looks strange. Do you have the mac address set in the boot loader? Are you using an Ethernet connection?
KITL for debug works best over Ethernet.

No -- I don't have ethernet at all. With the 2.0 binaries I was able to write an app in Visual Studio and debug via ActiveSync/USB. But I need/want to work on the bluetooth which apparently needs some help.

Do I need the newer WEBOOT with the SVN source? Or do I need to disable some boot parameter?
